The open care service is responsible for children and adolescents at risk, children who are suffering or need support, as well as parents who need assistance in their parenting role or in cooperation with the other parent. The open care service also works with social psychiatry and adult/addiction treatment.

We aim to be available to help in difficult situations where support and guidance are needed to find solutions.

About you:

We are looking for someone with education in social pedagogy, treatment pedagogy, alcohol and drug therapy, or other relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Previous experience in support and treatment work is an advantage.

You have a good ability to collaborate with both internal and external parties. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

The role requires proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. As we are a municipal authority for Finnish and Meänkieli, it is also advantageous if you can speak one of these languages.

Your tasks:

The assignment consists of preventive/outreach work and early interventions as well as treatment based on evidence-based methods. You will implement decisions on behalf of social workers. Other administrative tasks may occur.

The position is 100%, with immediate start, permanent.
